Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves like locked rooms and like books that are written in a very foreign tongue. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.   —Rainer Maria Rilke

I have found a career that matches my insatiable curiosity. I’ve been told again and again, “you ask so many questions?” or “Which question do you want me to answer first?” (from my Dad).

In a coaching session, asking a question and waiting for the answer/insights that come is the way to go. I put on my mindful hat and slow down my usual barrage of everyday questions and allow for more space in between them.

I have the total freedom to be curious and it’s my job to ask. To learn about others and help them see a new perspective is my favorite thing and now I get to do it for a living. What fun!

I found out through Gretchen Rubin’s Four Tendencies that you guessed it, I’m a questioner. Try the test out here and see what you are. https://gretchenrubin.com/four-tendencies/
